Jeffrey A. Heishman

BROGUE- Jeffrey A. Heishman, 56, of Lower Chanceford Township, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. He was the husband of Shonna K. (Taylor) Heishman. The couple celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on July 15, 2021. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at McKendree United Methodist Church, 3708 Delta Rd. in Airville, with a visitation preceding the service from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Pastor Gary Allshouse will be officiating at the service. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mr. Heishman was born in Carlisle on January 31, 1966, the son of Stewart A. and Jean A. (Deitch) Heishman of Carlisle. He was currently working as a guidance counselor for Harrisburg Area School District. Mr. Heishman was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church in Airville. He was a 1983 Carlisle High School graduate. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University and his Masters degree from McDaniel University, Westminster, MD. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and being outdoors. Mr. Heishman leaves two daughters, Sarah (Heishman) Eleftheratos and her husband Anthony of Ft. Myers, FL and Hannah Heishman of Brogue; a son, Benjamin Heishman and his wife Kristen of Orangeville, PA; and two granddaughters, Katherine and Layla.
