Janice L. (Maxwell) Coleman

RENOVO - Janice L. (Maxwell) Coleman, 67, passed away Thursday morning, March 5, 2015 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo. She was born December 13, 1947 in Renovo a daughter of the late Charles W. Maxwell, Sr. and Mildred L. (White). Janice worked at the former Maxwell Furniture Store, Renovo as a secretary retiring in 2004. She was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Janice adored her yellow Labrador “Dozer.” She is survived by her husband Michael L., four sons Michael T. (Diane) Coleman, Steven M. Coleman, Timothy M. Coleman and Jason A. (Pauline) Coleman and a daughter Brenda L. (Michael) Hand all of Renovo. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two brothers Charles W. Maxwell, Jr. and Paul (Grace) Maxwell both of Renovo also two sisters Ann Marie (Joseph) Woytera of Beech Lake, PA and Jeanne Schaffer of Lock Haven. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo with the Rev. Charles Ugo officiating. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Improvement Fund at St. Joseph Church. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo has charge of arrangements.
