Helen (Chuba) Dopkin

DOVER- Helen (Chuba) Dopkin, 84, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late Daniel David Dopkin. A visitation will be held from 10 AM- 12 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA, with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. Born April 3, 1931 in Mahanoy Plane, Pennsylvania, Helen was a daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Baran) Chuba. Mrs. Dopkin is survived by three sons, David Dopkin and his wife Patricia Lynch of Houston, TX, Duane Dopkin of Houston, TX and Darrell Dopkin and his wife Teresa Hutcheson of Ellicott City, MD; a daughter, Diane Dopkin of Silver Spring, MD; five grandchildren, Sarah, Kate, Rose, Taylor and Hunter; two sisters, Stella Lee of Boulder, CO and Claire Suppanz of Ashland, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Steve, Peter and Harry, and two sisters, Mary and Ann.
