DOVER TOWNSHIP- Harry E. "Buck" Yohe, Sr., 78, of Dover died Sunday, January 3, 2010. He resided at Manor Care Health Services North in York for the past seven years. He was the husband of Kathryne M. (Lyle) Yohe. The couple celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on June 2, 2009. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with viewing from 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Mr. Yohe was born in Columbia on July 21, 1931, a son of the late Benjamin A. and Dorothy E. (Crom) Yohe. He retired as a Police Officer for Columbia Borough and worked as a Supervisor for Gordon Waste of Columbia. He was a member of the Viking Athletic Club. Mr. Yohe leaves a son, Harry Yohe, Jr., of Fenton, Missouri; a daughter, Cherrie Alleman of Columbia; a step daughter, Tracey L. Reever of Dover; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four brothers, Benjamin "Bob" Yohe of Mt. Joy, Donald "Mody" Yohe of Lancaster, William Yohe of Marietta, and Wayne Yohe of Columbia; and six sisters, Jean Gipe and Constance Livelsberger both of Wrightsville, Patricia "Tish" Reese of Lancaster, and Helen "Sis" Shultz, Carol Shive, and Dawn Gohn all of Columbia. A sister, Dorothy Yohe preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
