Wrightsville — Harold L. Krow, 81, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Shirley L. (Gentzler) Krow. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Gateway Church, 50 Blunston Lane, York. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Barry Ryan. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born January 3, 1934 in Craley, he was a son of the late Clarence and Marguerite (Blouse) Krow. He was employed as a machinist at Caterpillar in York for 30 years until his retirement in 1995. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of Craley Fish & Game, PA Snowmobile Assoc and “Bear Camp” a private hunting camp in Sullivan Co. He also served his country in the United States Army, helped care for Craley Cemetery and for years assisted with organizing “Craley Days” Mr. Krow is survived by four children, Jeffrey Becker of Long Island, NY, Timothy Becker of Poughkeepsie, NY, Sherry Woodend and husband, James of Lancaster and Terry Kline of Wrightsville; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one brother, Stanley Krow and wife, Judy of Wrightsville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gateway Church, 50 Blunston Lane, York, PA 17406.
