Grant T. Billett, Jr

Dover—Grant T. Billett, Jr, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his residence in Dover Twp. He was the husband of Dorothy V. (Olewiler) Billett. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10AM, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with Certified Celebrant Victoria Krouse officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10AM, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born October 1, 1933 he was a son of the late Grant T. Billett, Sr, and Pauline (Shaud) Billett. He attended Red Lion High School. He was employed with Harley Davidson, Inc for several years working in their chrome buff/polish department until his retirement. He enjoyed running, bowling, visiting the gym, traveling and spending time with his wife of 63 years. Mr. Billett is also survived by two daughters, Medina Billett Westcott of York and Holly Billett Bowers and her husband, Stephen, of York; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; one sister, Una Billett Miller of Red Lion and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Billett. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc., 610 Community Way, Lancaster, Pa 17603.
