Grace Mae (Mcafee) Caywood

YORK – Grace Mae (McAfee) Caywood, 89, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Rev. Vernon Caywood. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday, May 22, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Graveside services will be at 11:30 AM Friday at Greenmount Cemetery. Born April 18, 1926 in York, a daughter of the late Harvey F. and Hazel (Newcomer) McAfee, she retired in 1991 from York Container Corp. Grace was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Caywood is survived by a son, Stephen E. and wife Linda Detter of York; three grandchildren, Stephen Detter, II and wife Sundra of Windsor, Michael Detter and wife Judy of Clarks Summit, and Jennifer and husband Brent Keener of Spring Grove; six grandchildren, Brock, Olivia, Zoe, and Allie Detter, and Noah and Cora Keener.
