Gladys S. Wenner Gladys S. Wenner, 93, formerly of 1519 West Market St., Pottsville, passed away Tuesday morning at Manor Care, Pottsville, after a 6 year illness. Born in Sunbury, PA on February 11, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Frymoyer Steiner. She was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1932. She was retired from Schoeneman Beauty Supply, Inc. and Philips Van Heusen, Co. She also worked as a Senior aide. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, and was confirmed by Pastor Weber in 1929. She belonged to the Women's Boble Class and the Senior Travelers. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Steiner. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Ridge, of Pottsville; her brother, Daniel Steiner, of Annville, PA; three Grandchildren, Jeffrey Ridge, Cathy Kearney, wife of Andrew, and Connie Ridge Hair; her 5 Great Grandchildren, Lauren Rubright, Dylan and Wesley Rosenberger, Nick and Danny Hair;2 nieces, Lisa Steiner Laudermilch, of Hilton Head, NC and Amy Steiner, of Mount Gretna, PA. Private Graveside interment services will be held in Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hillside SPCA, Hillside Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
