Gerald L. Daugherty

York—Gerald L. Daugherty, 66, died September 16, 2016 in York Township. He was the husband of Diana L. (Combe) Daugherty to whom he was married for 39 years. A Graveside Service will be held 1:30 PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave, York with the Rev. Paul Zander of Heritage Baptist Church officiating. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born June 2, 1950 in Dallastown, he was a son of George H. Daugherty of York and the late Romaine L. (Peters) Daugherty. He was employed with Johnson Controls for the past 48 years as a painter. He enjoyed gardening and riding trains. In addition to his wife, Gerald is also survived by a son, Albert W. Brickner and his wife, Carrie of York; a daughter, Dorothy C. Fields and her husband, Fred of Berwick; three grandchildren, Logan, Cole and Cody; one brother, Geoffrey L. Daugherty and his wife, Robin of Red Lion and a niece, Shanna.
