Gerald J. Kloppenborg

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP- Gerald J. Kloppenborg, 67, of York, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elaine J. (Olson) Kloppenborg. Services will be held at a later date at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel, 1755 11th Street in Gering, NE. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Kloppenborg was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on February 8, 1940, a son of the late John H. and Clara (Guckert) Kloppenborg. He worked as a Systems Operator for AWI-Associated Wholesalers, Inc. in York. He received a degree in Engineering from Iowa State University Mr. Kloppenborg leaves, four step sons: Brad Olson, Terry Gibbons, Jim Gibbons, and Dennis Gibbons, a step daughter Candie Walters, two brothers, Harland and Dennis Kloppenborg and a sister Marjorie Buck.
