Geneva L. (Seifert) Demmitt

YORK HAVEN- Geneva L. (Seifert) Demmitt, 84, died on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Manor Care Camp Hill. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry with the Reverend James Winter, Sr. officiating. A viewing will be from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Tri County Memorial Gardens. Born on August 15, 1932 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Irvin E. and Nelly (Cookler) Seifert. Geneva was a homemaker. Mrs. Demmitt enjoyed cooking, cleaning, gardening, country music and spending time with her family. Geneva leaves four sons, Harvey Demmitt of York Haven, William Demmitt of York Haven, Randy Demmitt of Middleton and Ronald Demmitt of York Haven; two daughters, Rosemary Reinier and husband, Robert of Lancaster and Alicia Demmitt of Lewisberry; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Stewart Demmitt; and two brothers, Donald and Morgan Seifert.
