Francis Brown

SCRANTON-Francis Brown, 73, formerly of Shavertown and resident of Allied Services, Scranton, passed away Monday evening at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, PA. Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 6, 1938 he was the son of the late Frank and Ann (Curley) Brown. He was of the Catholic faith and loved by the staff at Allied for his good nature. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 728 Main St., Avoca, with Father Phillip J. Sladicka officiating. Burial will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from Thursday from 10:00 AM till the time of the service.
