Florence M. (Jones) Straub

MILTON - Florence M. (Jones) Straub, 91, died on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at her residence. Florence was born on November 30, 1916 in Mooresburg, and was a daughter of the late John and Mazie (Dreese) Jones. She was a former employee of the Milton Shoe Factory and retired in 1979. She had attended the Church of Christ of Christian Union, Lewisburg. Florence is survived by two sons and daughter in laws; Paul N. and Esther Straub of Freeburg and David E. and Nancy Straub of Milton, one grandson and his friend; Dave E. Straub, Jr. and Geneva Starr, both of Montandon and one brother; Raymond Jones and his wife Edna of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton with Reverend John F. Saultz officiating the service. Burial will follow in Montandon Cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.
