Ethel Stogoski

Red Lion--Ethel Dora Armstrong Stogoski, formerly of South Plainfield, NJ and currently of Red Lion PA, born March 4, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ passed into eternal life on November 22, 2017. Ethel is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Ed and her children Cindy and Jeff Meyers, David and Joanne Stogoski, Robin and Ken Chamberlin and Barbara and Andrew LaRue. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren Matthew, Christian, David, Melissa and her husband Art, Kyle, John, Nicholas, Daniel and Charlotte and a great-granddaughter Amelia. Also surviving are her sister Esther Mushman and sister in-law Audrey Robey and many nieces , nephews and friends. Dora is pre-deceased by her parents William and Barbara Armstrong, and her sister Barbara Conrad. Dora was a very spiritual person, who enjoyed Bible Study class and steadfastly prayed for her family and friends. She passes her faith onto her children and grandchildren for which they are eternally grateful. A Funeral Service will take place at 12PM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at New Life Presbyterian Church, 970 Cape Horn Rd, York with her pastor, the Rev. Erik D. Swanson officiating. The family will receive visitors prior to the service between 10:30AM to noon at the church. A Committal Service will be held at a date to be determined this spring at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Memorial Garden in Metuchen, NJ.
