SUNBURY - Elizabeth Mae (Coup) McCormick, 54, died on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the Kramm Healthcare Center, Milton after fighting a long battle with cancer. Elizabeth was born on October 16, 1954 in Milton and was a daughter of the late Fred F. and Elizabeth (Specht) Coup. She was a 1973 graduate of the Milton Area High School. She was a former employee of the Milton Shoe Factory, Furmans and the Hotel Edison. She had enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, collecting salt and pepper shakers, Elvis memorabilia, the Steelers, the New York Mets and her dog "Prince". Elizabeth is survived by her companion of 15 years; Claude "Butch" Kistner of Sunbury, three sons; Kerry McCormick of Sunbury, William McCormick of Florida and Tom McCormick of New York, one daughter; Amanda McCormick of New York, six grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law; Terry L. and Yvonne Coup of Milton, one sister and brother-in-law; Patricia A. and Jerry Buck of Tool, TX and the children, daughter-in-law and grandchildren of "Butch", whom she loved as her own; Adam Kistner of Sunbury, Claude Kistner of Shamokin, Rusty and Maggie Kistner of Hatfield, Victoria Caldwell of Allentown, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Fred H. Coup in 1995 and Sidney W. Coup, Sr. in 2008. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in Harmony Cemetery, Milton, with the Reverend Douglas J. Seagle officiating. There will be no public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 East Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701. Arrangements are being handled by the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
