RED LION - Edna Grace [Beaverson] Miller, 71, died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at her residence following a lengthy kidney illness. She was the wife of Harold L. Miller with whom she was married for 52 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Glenn Detter officiating. A visitation will be held from 6-7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Born January 28, 1936 in Windsor a daughter of the late Walter and Mary C. [Smith] Beaverson, she was a 1954 graduate of Red Lion High School. Mrs. Miller was a seamstress for various sewing factories in Red Lion and Dallastown and later retired from York Casket Co. in 2000. She was a member of Red Lion American Legion, Ladies Auxiliary; and enjoyed sewing and taking care of her flowers. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Miller is survived by a daughter, Christine A. Yohe of Red Lion; a son, Ronald E. Miller of Mt. Juliet, TN; two grandchildren, Carson Miller and Heather Fauth; a brother, Donald Beaverson of Valdosta, GA; and two sisters, Isabelle Musser of Felton and Margaret Haugh of Dallastown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edna's name to Heartland Hospice, 3417-C Concord Rd., York, PA 17402 or to Kidney Dialysis Help Fund, c/o York Health Foundation, 45 Monument Rd., Suite 200, York, PA 17403.
