WINDSOR - Earl W. “Candy Pap Paw” Kesselring, 91, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Rest Haven in York. He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Bruce) Kesselring. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York with full military honors provided by York County Veteran's Honor Guard. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. A viewing will be held from 10 am-noon on Saturday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Mr. Kesselring was born in West Middletown, Frederick County, MD on May 8, 1921, son of the late Harry E. and Julia E. (Summers) Kesselring. He retired after 43 years of service for Certain Teed in York and was a WWII Veteran who served in the US Navy. Mr. Kesselring enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, coin collecting and spending time with his family. Mr. Kesselring leaves a son, Edward Kesselring of Red Lion; a daughter, Shirley Kreeger and her husband Ralph of Red Lion; 18 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Kesselring and James Kesselring; a daughter, Mary Ellen; and nine brothers and sisters.
