Dorothy E. Stiffler

YORK—Dorothy E. (Weston) Stiffler, 85, entered into her Heavenly home Tuesday February 15, 2022 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM Saturday, February 26, 2022 at York Alliance Church, 501 Rathton Rd, York. Officiating the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Tim Shuey. A visitation will be held from 1-2PM, Saturday at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born August 26, 1936 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Daniel S. and Mary L. (Chapman) Weston. She was employed for several years in quality assurance with Bon-Ton Distribution. A faithful and active member of York Alliance Church, she also enjoyed puzzles, word search, liked trips to the mountains and beach and loved her animals. Mrs. Stiffler is survived by three daughters, Stephanie J. Stambaugh of Windsor, Lisa A. Keller and spouse, Stacy of York and Leigh Ann Robinson of Red Lion; daughter in law, Jeanette Tome of York; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephan B. Tome; five brothers and one sister.
