Daniel W. Fisher, 56, of Chestnut St., Mill Creek, Pottsville, died at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center on Saturday morning. Born in Pottsville on May 25, 1950, he was the son of the late Warren L. and Anna Muso Fisher. He was a 1968 graduate of Nativity BVM High School. On June 9, 1973, he married the former Margaret M. "Peg" McCord, who survives. He was employed by the Yuengling Brewery for the past 27 years. He was a member of St. Stephen's Church, Port Carbon. Daniel was also a member of the N.R.A. He enjoyed salt water fishing in Delaware and was an avid hunter. Surviving Daniel in addition to his wife Peg of 33 years are: a son Warren and his fiancè£ Jessica Gray, of Philadelphia; a daughter, April and her husband Evan Miller, of Nescopeck; two grandchildren, Grace and Daniel Miller; two step grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon Miller; a sister Deanna and her husband Richard Condrack, of Pottsville; and three nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the St. Stephen's Church, Port Carbon. The Rev. John J. McNamara will officiate. Family and friends may call at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville on Wednesday from 8 - 9:45 AM. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The family prefers contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311
