Cynthia Eckert Cynthia "Cindy" Eckert, 67, of Pottsville, passed away at her sister-in-law's residence in Schuylkill Haven Saturday morning. Born in Mechanicsville, on February 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude Mohl Boyer. Prior to retiring, she worked in various local factories. She was a member of the Bethany Christian Fellowship Church, Cressona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Eckert, who died in 1985; several brothers. She is survived by two sisters, Patricia and Fern; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
