Cathryn R. (Yost) Miller

YORK- Cathryn Romaine (Yost) Miller, 76, died Friday, June 18, 2010 at Normandie Ridge. A Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday June 22, 2010 at Grace Baptist Church, with a visitation from 6-7 p.m. Her pastor, The Reverend Gary L. Auker will be officiating at the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Miller was born in York on March 26, 1934, a daughter of the late Elmer and Susan (Lease) Yost. She retired from Key Plastics in Emigsville; prior to that she worked for PA& S Small Company, Rutter's Convenience Store in Hellam, and Roanna Girl. Mrs. Miller was a member of Grace Baptist Church in York, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was a 1952 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. She enjoyed needle point. Mrs. Miller leaves a son, Eric J Miller and his wife Elizabeth of Dover and a daughter, Cathy Warner and her husband Steve of York; three grandchildren, Chelsea Warner, Alexander Miller, and Courtney Miller; a sister, Yvonne Yost of York, and nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Dale, Donald, and George Yost; and a sister, Odith Schneider.
