C. J. "Buck" Marlow, 82 of Dover died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at his residence. He was the husband of Delores M. "Dee" [Billet] Marlow with whom he was married for 53 years on June 6, 2006. A celebration of life service will be 7:00 PM Thursday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with full military honors presented by York County Veterans Honor Guard. A visitation will be from 6-7:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John Kurtz will officiate. A private burial at sea will take place at a later date. Born July 23, 1924 in Ellicott City, MD a son of the late Strother and Annie [Lauman] Marlow, he served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War, retiring after 20 years. Following his military service, Mr. Marlow worked at Owens Yacht Co. in Dundalk, MD prior to his retirement from Atlantic Caisson Corp. In addition to his wife, Mr. Marlow is survived by a daughter, Cathy J. Clark of Allentown; a son, Steve A. Marlow of York; a granddaughter, Lauren "Nikki" Clark; a brother, Ben Marlow of Glen Burnie, MD; and a sister, Gertrude Kendrick of Forest Hill, MD. He was preceded in death by a brother, Pat Marlow; and a sister, Kathryn Miley.
