Bonnie Lee (Dewitt) Dorer

YORK- Bonnie Lee (DeWitt) Dorer, 67, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her home. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place , Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born February 18, 1947 in York , Bonnie was a daughter of Laura (Dubbs) DeWitt of York and the late Bernard DeWitt Sr. She worked for many years as a server and bartender at the Flying Dutchman until her retirement in 2004. Bonnie enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a movie fanatic. She loved roses and being with her family and dear friends. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Dorer is survived by a son, Tim Dorer of York; a daughter, Christina Dorer of York; three grandchildren, Nicole Dorer, Nicholas Nunez and Gabby Dorer; a great grandson, Ty Kaden Blakey; two brothers, Rick DeWitt of Dover and Dale DeWitt of York; a sister, Jo King of Dover; and her two closest friends, Chris Kelly and Jo Peel.
