Betty J. Scott

DOVER- Betty J. (Wolfe) Scott, 94, of Dover Township, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Born August 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Bertha (Sipe) Wolfe and Morgan F. Wolfe, and the stepdaughter of Charles A. Wilhelm. Mrs. Scott is survived by her loving daughter, Betty Scott Myers and sisters, Edna Sampson and Barbara Klahold. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Constance J. Scott, and brothers, Charles Wilhelm and William Wilhelm, and a sister, Miriam Marsh. Memorial contributions may be made to York Cancer Center, Patient Help Fund, Suite 194, 25 Monument Rd., York, PA 17403. A graveside service will be held in her memory at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Certified Celebrant Kasie Watkins will be officiating at the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements.
