S RENOVO - Barbara E. (King) Decker, 70 of First Street Renovo passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 after a brief illness at Bucktail Medical Center where she was a patient since September 2006. She was born July 10, 1936 in Greg Twp., the daughter of the late Paul & Stella (Snyder) King. Barbara was married to Charles E. "Pappy" Decker on November 21, 1955. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. She worked at the former Gettig Engineering of Spring Mills retiring in 1997 after 25 years. In her free time Barbara loved to play bingo, do cross stitching and going to yard sales. She attended Penns Valley School and was a past commander of the Woman's Auxiliary Legion Post #779 at Centre Hall. Surviving are her husband of 51 years. One Son Gary Decker of Renovo Two Daughters Peggy Fryer of Warren, Ohio and Bonnie Tipton of Moshannon, PA 10 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren Three Brothers Dick and Larry both of Spring Mills and Tom of Pleasant Gap. Two Sisters Phyllis Duck of Centre Hall and Deborah Waite of Bellefonte Barbara was preceded in death by a Sister Ruth Spangler and a Brother Harry King. Memorial Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the American Legion, Renovo. Arrangements are being handled by Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo.
