Anna Lazorick

YORK-Anna (Sainato) Lazorick, 95, formerly of Pompton Plains, NJ, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Frank Lazorick. The couple celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary on September 14, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 219 S. Beaver Street, in York, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Her pastor, Father Keith Carroll will be officiating at the Mass. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Mrs. Lazorick was born in New York, NY on April 6, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Piecnik) Sainato. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in York. Her husband served in the US Army in WWII. Mrs. Lazorick leaves two daughters, Joan E. Coons and her husband Bob of York and Francine Reese and her husband Richard of Etters; five grandchildren, Allison Kelbaugh, Robert Coons, Jr., Michael Steinerd, Robert Steinerd, and Timothy Steinerd; ten great grandchildren, Cristina, Brandt, Michael, Jr., Marissa, Serina, Nicholas, Robert, Jr., Gavin, Justin, and Nolan; a brother, Robert Sainato of New Milford, PA; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Steinerd and two brothers, Frank and Steve Sainato. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 219 S.
