DONALDSON-Anna C. Nesbitt, 78, of Donaldson, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday at her home. Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 29, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Umla) Lewis. She was of the Lutheran faith. Anna loved playing cards and bowling. She was a member of Colorettes Bowling League at Stanton Lanes, the Republican Club Bowling League and the Ladies Independent Order of Reindeer. Prior to retiring in 1995, she was employed as a sewing machine operator at Tina Dress and Leslie Fay. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Arthur R. Nesbitt; 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are her sons, Robert A. (Lillie) Nesbitt, Mountain Top; Arthur J. (Lori) Nesbitt, Wilkes-Barre; Ronald J. (Lori) Nesbitt, Donaldson; Kerry (Myra) Nesbitt, Sugar Notch; daughters Sandra Lee Raughley, Plymouth; Ann Marie (Joe Grenwich, Jr.) Nesbitt, Benton; Rose Marie (James) Emil, Wyoming; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers William Lewis, Wilkes-Barre; Charles Lewis, MA; sister, Charlotte Hendrix, OH. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with Pastor Janell Wigen officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
