MILTON- Ann "Annie" Yvonne Robbins, 67, of Milton, passed away April 2, 2009 at the Geisinger Medical Center after a fight with cancer for more than 1 1/2 years. Ann was born in Danville July 24th, 1941, a daughter of the late Robert and Elsie (Prowant) Hackenberg. She grew up in the Milmont Area and graduated from Mifflinburg High School in 1959. Annie met her best friend and loving husband Ron in 1979 and celebrated their 28th anniversary on July 7th 2008. Annie loved life, everyone and everything. Annie co-owned along with her sister Bonnie, "Annies' & Bonnies' restaurant on Broadway from 1988-1995. While there they made many friends with their wonderful personalities. Annie was one of Seven sisters and Two brothers. She was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Hackenberg and Sister Alice "Gerite" Vanatta. Continuing the loving memories of Annie are her husband Ron, two stepsons, Preston Robbins and Anthony Robbins, granddaughters Trinity and Jasmine Robbins, sisters Sis Styers and her husband Donnie of Mifflinburg, Peggy Sauers and her husband Ralph of Ft Mills, S.C., Bonnie Scholl and her husband Richard of Port Treverton, Harry "Bud" Hackenberg and his wife Joanne of Beavertown, Nancy Pursley of Mifflinburg, June Bouy and her husband Donald of Laurelton; and sister in law, Mary Agnes Hackenberg. Annie will be missed by her beloved dog, Buffy who was always near her. Annie loved being around people and was loved by all. She enjoyed golfing with Ron Vacationing at the Shore, emailing her friends and cooking. Annie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Milton where she enjoyed her many friends and most of all Bible Study. Friends will be received Tues. April 7th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Milton. A Christian service will be held at 11a.m. with Pastor Cheryl Berner followed by a graveside service were Annie will be laid to rest at the New Columbia Cemetery. The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, Inc. 125 North Front Street, Milton, PA has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Annie to American Cancer Society, Columbia County Chapter, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
