Andrew Jacob Rexroth

YORK - Andrew Jacob Rexroth, 22, died unexpectedly at 2:45 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2007, at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with the Rev. Catherine E. Boileau and the Rev. Charles Salisbury officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at New Creation Community Church, 3005 Emig Mill Rd., Dover and 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Andy was born March 6, 1985, in York. He was the son of Michael L. Rexroth of Red Lion and Barbara J. (Jones) Cleaver of York. He was a 2003 graduate of Spring Grove Area Senior High School. Prior to his diagnosis of Marfan Syndrome, Andy had been active, and excelled, in the Spring Grove Youth Sports Programs including soccer, basketball and baseball. His more recent interest have included learning to play golf and his video games. He was also a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion. In addition to his parents, Andy is survived by his step father, Lynn E. Cleaver of York; his brother, Seth M. Rexroth of York; his sister, Chelsea L. Cleaver of York; his maternal grandmother, Ada L. Jones of York; his paternal grandmother, Patsy Rexroth of Red Lion; his maternal step grandmother, Jane Cleaver of Frostproof, FL; and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dwight L. Jones; his paternal grandfather, Chester D. Rexroth; and his maternal step grandparents: Earl C. and Mildred E. Cleaver.
