Allen R. Kull, Sr.

POTTSVILLE- Allen R. Kull, Sr., 70, of Minersville, formerly of Pottsville passed away Thursday at Manor Care, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on November 1, 1941 he was a son of the late Arthur and Mabel Fisher Kull. Allen was a 1959 graduate of Pottsville High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a supervisor at the former Ames Warehouse, Leesport, prior to retiring. Allen was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville. He was a former member of the Optemist club and the Lions club, both of Pottsville. He was a stamp and coin collector. Allen is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dorothea A. “Dottie” Haley Kull, Minersville; his son, Allen R.”A.J.” Kull, Jr., of Minersville; his four brothers, Arthur, husband of Sandy, of Phoenix, AZ, Earle, husband of Ellen, of Pottsville, John, husband of Jeanie, of Yeardley, PA and William Kull, husband of Mary Ann, of Exeter, PA; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Sunbury Street, Minersville. Monsignor William Handges will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 A.M. until time of Mass in the church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to bestlifetributes.com.
